About Us

Bree Moses
After a brief internship at the Florida School of Traditional Midwifery in 2002, Bree realized her purpose in life; attending to women in labor and childbirth. Over the course of the last 10 years she has been immersing herself in the culture of midwifery, doulas, and childbirth education. The combination of becoming a Registered Nurse in 2006 and having a son (water birth) in 2007 solidified her passion for a path to midwifery.  Having attended numerous births as a second year midwifery student at The Florida School of Traditional Midwifery, Bree is even closer to realizing the dream of attending women in labor as a  Midwife.

Charlie Rae Young

Charlie Rae is a mother, doula, natural birth advocate, and student midwife. A substandard birth experience opened Charlie's eyes to the current crisis in America's maternity care system. Shortly after, she began her work in the birth field with the Coalition for Improving Maternity Care Services (CIMS) as a grassroots ambassador for The Birth Survey. Currently, Charlie works as a Birth Assistant with Sweet Child O' Mine in Brandon, FL, and she is apprenticing with Lakeland Midwifery Care LLC while attending Florida School of Traditional Midwifery. Charlie believes that women still have an innate ability to give birth without intervention and strives to make a positive difference in the total birth experience for new mothers.

"I feel a deep connection to women both here in the States and across the globe. I look forward to submersing myself in other cultures and soaking in the knowledge and wisdom their people have to share. I have always been drawn to travelling abroad and cannot think of a better way to to experience a region than to live with and serve natives. What better way to combine two interests I am deeply passionate about? I look forward to sharing my servants heart with the people of the Dominican while taking in everything they will teach me."
